Hypnosis has become an accepted and safe method to help people overcome mind-based problems. The growing use of hypnosis today is contributing to a transformation in how we understand the workings of the mind and the healing powers that lie latent in us all.  The modern hypnotherapist, however, is moving fast to keep up with advances taking place in psychology and psychotherapy.  Today psychology is moving away from its old narrow ways of looking at the human psyche and, instead, is seeking an integrative approach that looks at all aspects of what it means to be human.  The humanist branch of psychotherapy has now blossomed into the "transpersonal" where a person’s own inner mythic, spiritual or imaginative world is taken into account.  Psychotherapy and hypnotherapy have had to acknowledge the age-old teachings of the East which tell us that you cannot understand reality by dividing it into pieces but rather we need to see the world as One, intimately linked together by a cosmic consciousness of which we are a part.  Failure of the therapist to see how their clients relate to the wider reality is to deny them their full humanity. Read more on this website to see how hypnosis can open the alchemical gateway that leads to psychic growth and personal self-improvement.

"Imagination is the instrument of the ADAPTION OF THE WORD"

undefinedEliphas Levi, Transcendental Magic

"I am Brahman" is published by O Books in 2010 and is a reflection on my own spiritual journey and attempt to explore the nature of consciousness itself. Brahman is a Sanskrit word which means the great underlying principle of the Universe which in the East has always been understood as consciousness itself – the ground awareness of the Universe through which everything is created and witnessed. Brahman is our true Self and is like a background mirror on which all consciousness is reflected.  But this mirror has power.  Brahman is the evolutionary energy of the Universe – an impulse towards self awareness that it projects as what we call Creation.  We are that impulse. We are Brahman.
